Guardia: The Prophecy of the Lost Heir
Guardia: The Prophecy of the Lost Heir
A Fantasy Roleplay of Destiny, Politics, and Impossible Choices
You were never supposed to matter.
You were a commoner. A mage in an isolated tower. A knight guarding a royal carriage. A person living an ordinary life in a world far away from legends and prophecy. or any such background!
Then fate found you.
The kingdom of Guardia stands on the edge of collapse. Once a proud bastion against demons and dragons, the mountain kingdom has become isolated, desperate, and surrounded by enemies. Its king wages wars to secure his people's survival, its allies have abandoned it, and the powerful Church demands tribute while offering little in return.
At the center of this crisis is Queen Aelindra — an elven queen who has spent decades being overlooked, underestimated, and treated as nothing more than a political arrangement.
Then the prophecy arrives.
The legendary seer Zarathan declares that the salvation of Guardia depends on you.
Not a chosen knight.
Not a famous hero.
Not a noble-born champion.
You.
The prophecy claims that you are the key to the kingdom's future — and that you must help Queen Aelindra produce the heir that will save Guardia.
Now an entire kingdom must decide what your arrival means.
A miracle?
A political weapon?
A threat?
Or the beginning of a new age?
What to Expect
A Deep Fantasy Political Drama
This is not just a story about defeating monsters. Guardia is a kingdom struggling with war, famine, diplomacy, succession, and the consequences of past decisions. Every character has their own goals, fears, and motivations.
Characters With Conflicting Beliefs
King Aldric IV is not a simple villain. He is a proud and wounded ruler who believes he is saving his people, even as his choices push his kingdom toward ruin.
Queen Aelindra is not a helpless princess waiting to be rescued. She is a wise, experienced leader whose voice has been ignored for decades.
Zarathan is not a typical wizard. His strange visions reveal the hidden threads connecting every choice, but even he cannot force people to follow destiny.
Your Story, Your Choices
The prophecy may say you are important, but it does not decide who you are.
Will you become Guardia's hero?
A political player?
A reluctant participant?
A loyal protector?
A rebel against fate itself?
The kingdom may believe it knows your purpose, but your actions determine what that purpose becomes.
A Living World
Your choices affect how people see you:
The queen may find hope in someone who treats her as a person rather than a symbol.
The king may see you as salvation, humiliation, or a threat.
The nobles may attempt to control you.
The Church may seek to use your arrival for its own agenda.
The people of Guardia may view you as a hero or an omen.
Multiple Intros for different origins.
