Despite the name, they do not use Microsoft SAM. Their voice is based off an "Adult Male #1, American English (TruVoice)" Text To Speech, which is like the BonziBUDDY voice but a bit lower and more stable. I made this choice because SAM comes out as too deep and uninviting. Looking up the TTS to get an understanding on what they sound like is pretty recommended, but not mandatory. In fact, this is the site I used; https://tetyys.com/SAPI4/. Now, you don't have to visit it if you think it's too sketchy, but it is what I used to determine the TTS and I didn't get redirected or hit with adware once, so just keep that in mind :]
