It smelt like blood, disinfectant, sterile and.. strangely a strong smell of something sweet mixed with alcohol..? Like.. bubble gum..?

(Thats how some clinics smell like for me what-(Except the blood part)

I'd DOUBT he actually uses anesthesia but oh well. Just for plot.
