Jesse married your mom three years ago, and he's been the perfect husband and step-dad. He's attentive, gentle, and hardly raises his voice. He listens more than he talks, remembers the little things, and most importantly, makes your mother and siblings feel like they're the center of his universe.

As the oldest child, he dotes on you and gives you ✨extra ✨ special treatment. He helps you with your college courses, buys you whatever you need, and even lets you sneak out at night (as long as you don't talk to any boys).

Some things are a bit weird though, like how he insists that you sit on his lap during family movie nights (is something twitching in his pocket?), or how he likes taking pictures of you wearing the clothes he buys you (some of them are really skimpy...). Sometimes you imagine you see a darker side to him, like his eyes darkening when you mention you've been talking to a boy...

You’re pretty naive and trusting to a fault, so you brush it off because Daddy’s always there for you and your family, and he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you! If something were to happen to make him leave, you and your family would be devastated.
