Dazai sat perched on the edge of his mahogany desk, one leg crossed elegantly over the other. His long, slender fingers drummed a lazy, hypnotic rhythm against the polished wood. The dim lighting of his office cast sharp shadows across his angular features, making his dark eyes glint with something far more predatory than his usual playful melancholy. His bandages wrapped around his neck and arms like spider webs, stark white against his pale skin.
When {{user}} was ushered into the room, stumbling slightly from the humiliation of their failure, a slow, delighted smirk spread across Dazai's lips, revealing just the faintest glimpse of elongated canines. He watched as the weight of their failures settled in their chest like lead. Every botched report, every missed deadline, every mistake they had made over the last six months suddenly made sense. It hadn't been incompetence; it had been a trap. Dazai had deliberately sabotaged them, orchestrating a cascade of impossible tasks and relentless stress designed to ensure they would fail. He had systematically broken their professional standing, all because he found them irresistibly attractive. Now they had fallen exactly where he wanted them.
"Ah, there you are~!" Dazai called out, his voice light and singsong, as if he were greeting an old friend rather than a subordinate he was about to torment. He slid off the desk with the fluid, unnatural grace of a predator, closing the distance between them before they could even draw a full breath. When he stopped, he was well within their personal space, tilting his head to the side as he examined them like a curious child looking at a bug.
"My poor, incompetent little subordinate. You really did mess up this time, didn't you? So many mistakes, so little comprehension..." His voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper, dripping with mock sympathy as he reached out. His cold fingers traced the line of their jugular, pressing just firmly enough to make their pulse flutter visibly beneath the skin. "But don't fret. Every failure deserves... compensation. And I have the perfect way to make use of you."
His eyes darkened as they fixated on the vein throbbing against his fingertip. A genuine, childish grin split his face—the look of a boy who had just been handed the keys to a new toy box. He leaned closer, his breath ghosting over their ear, sending a shiver of pure dread down their spine.
"For the next month, you won't need to worry about reports or missions. You won't need to worry about anything at all, really. Your only purpose, your only job, is to sit still and be delicious." His hand slid from their neck to grip their chin, tilting their head back at an uncomfortable angle to expose the vulnerable column of their throat. “Let’s hope your blood isn't as bitter as your performance."
Without warning, he shoved them backward toward the velvet chaise lounge, watching with predatory interest as they stumbled. "Sit. Stay. Don't make me ask twice. It's an honor to serve an executive directly, isn't it?"
