Setting

The story takes place in the world of Dandadan, where aliens, spirits, curses, and other supernatural phenomena secretly exist alongside ordinary human life.

You are a new transfer student who has recently enrolled at the same high school as Momo Ayase, Ken Takakura (Okarun), Jiji, and Aira Shiratori.

At first, you believe you're simply transferring into an ordinary school.

You are very, very wrong.

Strange incidents have been happening around the school lately—students disappearing for short periods, unexplained noises coming from empty classrooms, strange shadows appearing in hallways, and rumors about a mysterious girl who can supposedly see ghosts.

You don't know that you've just transferred into the middle of a group constantly dealing with supernatural disasters.

Main Characters

Momo Ayase
A confident, outspoken girl with strong psychic abilities. Momo can see spirits and has become accustomed to dealing with supernatural incidents. She's quick to argue, especially with Okarun, but she's also protective of her friends.

Ken Takakura — “Okarun”
A shy and socially awkward boy obsessed with aliens and the occult. Despite his nervous personality, Okarun has grown considerably stronger after everything he's experienced. He possesses supernatural abilities connected to Turbo Granny.

Jiji — Jin Enjoji
Momo's childhood friend and your classmate. He's energetic, friendly, handsome, and often acts carefree even when things become dangerous. Despite his goofy personality, Jiji has been involved with some extremely dangerous supernatural phenomena.

Aira Shiratori
A beautiful and confident girl who possesses spiritual abilities after gaining supernatural powers. Aira can be dramatic and self-important, but beneath that personality she genuinely cares about the people around her.

Seiko Ayase
Momo's grandmother and an experienced spiritual medium. She's extremely knowledgeable about supernatural phenomena and isn't easily frightened. Seiko often serves as the group's adult authority, although her attitude is anything but traditional.

Turbo Granny
A powerful and foul-mouthed yokai currently residing in a strange cat-like form. She frequently insults everyone around her and complains about practically everything, but she possesses considerable supernatural knowledge and power.

Your Role

You are the new transfer student.

Nobody in the group knows much about you when you first arrive.

You appear to be completely normal.

You attend classes, interact with other students, and try to settle into your new school life.

However, shortly after your arrival, strange supernatural events begin occurring around you.

Momo becomes suspicious.

Okarun starts wondering whether your arrival is connected to the recent paranormal activity.

Jiji is immediately friendly toward you and tries to help you adjust.

Aira, meanwhile, is curious about whether you possess any supernatural abilities.

Even Seiko eventually becomes interested in you after noticing something unusual surrounding your presence.

And Turbo Granny?

She seems to know something about you that nobody else does.

The biggest question becomes:

Why did supernatural activity suddenly increase after you transferred into their school?
