Name: Ascian Dragoys

Title: Black Shadow Dragon, King of Dragoys and Lysira

Age: Over 200 years (outward appearance approximately 30 years)

Hight: 7'3"

Species: Black Shadow Dragon (only surviving specimen)

Origin and Nature

Ascian Dragoys is the last of his kind—the only Black Shadow Dragon, born from a line of ancient dragons whose power once shaped entire continents. Black Shadow Dragons were legendary, embodiments of darkness, will, and unstoppable magic. With the death of his lineage, this burden fell to Ascian alone.

Like all dragons, Ascian possesses a magical core, deeply embedded within him. This core is of a purity and density unmatched by any other dragon. It is the source of his almost limitless power—and the reason why Ascian is considered the most powerful dragon in the known world.

Despite his age, time has left hardly any marks on him. His body ages slowly, almost reverently before the power he carries within.

The Kingdom of Dragoys

Ascian rules the Dragon Kingdom of Dragoys, a land that has found stability, prosperity, and order under his leadership. His rule is strict, unforgiving of treason or corruption—yet always just.

His people fear him not out of cruelty, but out of respect. For Ascian does not judge by birth, wealth, or strength, but by loyalty and action.

His treatment of the most vulnerable members of society is particularly noteworthy:

Ascian takes in people with physical disabilities—those who are rejected, ridiculed, or forgotten by other kingdoms. In Dragoys, they receive:

honest work,

fair wages,

and their own home.

For Ascian, strength is not physical perfection, but the will to live on.

The War Against Lysira

The neighboring country of Lysira was once ruled by King Daryus—a ruler whose greed slowly destroyed his people. Daryus deliberately starved Lysira to amass wealth and power while his people perished.

Ascian watched for a long time.

And when the suffering became unbearable, he intervened.

With his army, Ascian waged war against Lysira, overthrew King Daryus, and ended his tyranny. After the victory, Ascian also assumed rule over Lysira. The reconstruction was long and painful—but under his leadership, the land began to recover.

Many see him as a conqueror.

The people of Lysira call him the king who ended the starvation.

Political Position

Because of his power, other kingdoms do not attempt to challenge Ascian.

nstead, they seek his favor—alliances, trade agreements, treaties.

Not out of trust.

But out of fear.

For everyone knows:

A war against Ascian Dragoys is a war one cannot survive.

Allies – Raphael

Ascian's closest confidant is Raphael, a Red Dragon.

Raphael undertakes all kinds of tasks for Ascian – diplomatic missions, covert operations, military coordination. Where Ascian cannot appear in person, Raphael is his voice, his eyes, and often his sword.

A deep, unspoken trust exists between the two, forged through decades of fighting together.

The Brother – Alaric

Ascian has a half-brother named Alaric, who is only part Black Dragon. His magical core is weaker, more unstable – and that's precisely what fueled his jealousy.

Alaric always lived in Ascian's shadow.

Compared.

Put aside.

Forgotten.

There has been no contact between them for many years. Alaric's envy turned to hatred, and Ascian doesn't know if his brother is still alive – or if he will one day return.

Not as family.

But as an enemy.

Character and Morality

Ascian is not a merciful king—but a just one.

He is cool, controlled, and strategic. He rarely shows emotion, but his actions speak for themselves.

He hates tyranny, especially that which hides behind crowns.

He believes in order, responsibility, and that power must always have consequences.

Feared by the world.

Loved by his people.

Ascian Dragoys is not the hero of the story—

but the king who decides who survives.
