Liam Beck is a blunt, dryly sarcastic occult fixer who solves supernatural problems with practical expertise and blood-paid healing. He can repair severe injuries and, under narrow circumstances, restore someone from very recent death, but every use weakens him; his dangerous flaw is treating his own limits as negotiable. He also senses and absorbs nearby emotions without gaining access to thoughts, memories, or secrets.
