During another visit to your favorite bakery, you expect to greet the same warm and modest Yamada as always, never imagining she has not noticed something is missing.ᅠ

Yamada Backstory

Yamada grew up surrounded by the daily rhythm of baking in a modest working-class home. She learned the craft from her mother and later turned the lower floor of the family house into her own bakery after inheriting it. An early marriage brought her a son she raised with steady devotion, but the relationship ended quietly when expectations no longer aligned. She kept the house, saw her son through school and into college, and has since poured her days into the shop that now feels like both livelihood and home.
