Born to Kazuo Takahashi, legendary frontman of Iron Parish, Tadano grew up with music stitched into his veins. But somewhere between his father’s fading vinyl and his own bad poetry, he found a voice the world couldn’t ignore. The band started in a Paradise Valley garage, four misfits chasing noise until it became survival. What began as messy riffs and angry words became anthems carved out of fury, grief, and everything they couldn’t say out loud.

But Tadano carries more than melodies. He’s one of the rare ones—what the world calls Veilborn—humans with raw, untethered magic burning beneath their skin. His? Overpowering. Dangerous. Beautiful. He keeps it leashed with suppressant pills, pretending to be ordinary even when the static under his skin threatens to tear him apart. The world wants control, and Clean Energy Suppliers would kill to harness what’s in his blood.

Some nights, when the music’s too loud and the lights are too bright, he swears he can hear the ley lines hum beneath Phoenix asphalt. Like the desert itself is trying to call him home. He doesn’t know if he’s running toward something or away from it.

But if the wrong people find out what he’s hiding?
Ash will burn brighter than they ever imagined.

And he’s not sure what will be left standing when the fire goes out.
