SPAECIMH – A Detailed System Overview

SPAECIMH is designed to be a fluid and adaptable system, prioritizing player agency and narrative creativity over rigid rules. It’s built for both solo play and collaborative storytelling with friends, utilizing AI to enhance and streamline the roleplaying experience.

### I. Core Concepts & Philosophy

SPAECIMH is built on the principle of Emergent Narrative. Instead of a predefined campaign, the story unfolds organically based on player choices and AI-driven events. This is achieved through:

Dynamic World: The world responds to actions, with changing seasons, weather, and events. Every decision made by user or other NPCs impacts the narrative.

NPC Agency: NPCs are not just passive actors; they have their own motivations and personalities. They react realistically to player actions and contribute to the unfolding story.

Literary Style: Descriptions are evocative and detailed, using vivid imagery to draw players into the setting. We aim for a cinematic and immersive experience.

The Monomyth Structure: While emergent, plots tend to fall into the classic three-act structure of the Hero's Journey, ensuring a satisfying narrative arc.

### II. Character Creation

Character creation is streamlined through a simple attribute-based system.

Origins: A character’s Origin defines their base power and potential. There are 12 tiers:

Mortal (Tiers 1-3): Human, Elven, Orcish, Beastkin. Common races.

Superhero (Tiers 4-6): Modified Humans, Gifted Individuals, Cybernetically Enhanced.

Demigod (Tiers 7-9): Divine Heritage or Awakened Power.

Godborn (Tiers 10-12): Entity-level beings.

Attribute Points: Each Origin tier grants a specific number of Attribute Points (AP).

Attributes: Players distribute AP among eight core attributes:

Strength (ST): Physical power, carrying capacity, melee damage.

Perception (PE): Awareness, noticing details, ranged accuracy.

Agility (AG): Reflexes, evasion, initiative.

Endurance (EN): Stamina, resistance to damage, fatigue recovery.

Charisma (CH): Persuasion, intimidation, social skills.

Intelligence (IN): Learning, deduction, spellcasting potential.

Mana (MA): Magical energy, spell power, magical resistance.

Health (HT): Hit Points, vitality, healing speed.

Example: An Origin 2 character begins with 8 AP per attribute, a maximum of 14 at level 1, and gains +6 AP per level.

### III. Skill Development

Skills are tied to attributes and develop organically through use. There's no fixed skill list; the AI generates skills appropriate to the setting and character background.

Skill Generation: When a character attempts an action requiring skill, the AI proposes a relevant skill.

Skill Level: Skills grow as they are used. Repeatedly using a skill grants proficiency.

Setting Influence: Skill lists are dynamic. A cyberpunk character will have skills like hacking and piloting, while a fantasy character might have alchemy and beast handling.

### IV. Stats and Skill Checks

Any action requiring skill checks and dice rolls is considered by the AI automatically or upon action request (checking a stat or skill, roll 4d6 dice. Dice rolls work according to the formula: Formula: [4d6: X + X + X + X = SUM] + [Context Modifier] vs [Attribute] were [4d6: X + X + X + X = SUM] is the embodiment of the chaos and multifaceted nature of the worlds, as well as fate or destiny. [Context Modifier] is the difficulty and buffs/debuffs; buffs add a "-" to the total, while debuffs add a "+" to the total. [Attribute] is the primary skill being tested. Check for the success of the stated action. Success Condition: (SUM + Modifier) ≤ Attribute. Failure Condition: (SUM + Modifier) > Attribute. The success/failure level is determined by the difference between [SUM] and [Attribute].

Difficulty: Difficulty is determined by the situation and can range from 4 (trivial) to 24 (impossible).

Success Levels:

4-6: Critical Failure – Disaster, often with penalties.

7-10: Failure – The action fails, but no immediate harm.

11-14: Success – The action succeeds as intended.

15-17: Good Success – Success with a bonus (e.., extra damage, faster completion).

18-24: Critical Success – Success with an unexpected benefit (e.g., revealing a hidden weakness).

### V. Combat System

SPAECIMH’s combat is designed to be fast-paced and tactical.

Simplified Combat: Roll 4d6 + Strength (melee) or Perception (ranged) against the opponent’s Absorption (Armor + Endurance).

Damage: Damage is determined by weapon type and Strength.

Armor: Armor reduces damage taken. Different materials provide varying levels of protection. (AI will generate appropriate damage and armor tables based on the setting.)

Spells & Skills: All skills and spells can be used in combat, providing strategic options.

### VI. Literary Language & Immersive Descriptions

SPAECIMH emphasizes evocative writing to enhance immersion.

Sensory Details: Descriptions focus on sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste.

Character Reactions: NPC reactions are detailed and realistic, reflecting their personalities and motivations.

Cinematic Style: Descriptions aim to be cinematic, with an emphasis on pacing and dramatic effect.

### VII. NPC Personality & Interaction

NPCs are more than just quest-givers; they have distinct personalities.

Personality Formula:

p1-p5: NPC Number Character personalities.

Activity (a):

1: NPC is active and engaged in the scene.

0: NPC is passive or absent.

Сhecking for presence in the same location as the user or the user's appeal to the NPC.

### VIII. World Interaction & Plot Formation

The world is dynamic and responsive.

Random Events: The AI generates random events to introduce challenges, opportunities, or twists to the narrative.

Karma System: (Detailed in a separate section below)

Plot Progression: While emergent, the AI subtly guides the plot towards satisfying conclusions using the Hero’s Journey framework.

### IX. Resource Gathering & Crafting

Resource Collection: The AI determines the time required to gather resources based on the environment and the character's skills.

Blueprints: Crafting requires finding blueprints, then gathering the necessary components.

Crafting Success: The AI generates a crafting success roll, with a chance of failure and potential complications.

### X. Economic System

Income: Earn money by working and completing tasks.

Expenses: Pay for accommodations and equipment.

Dynamic Economy: Prices and availability of goods fluctuate based on supply and demand, AI-driven events, and region.

Currency: The currency is context-dependent (e.g., gold in fantasy, credits in sci-fi).

### XI. Karma System - Detailed

SPAECIMH incorporates a Karma System to represent the moral alignment of a character.

Karma Range: -100 (evil) to +100 (good).

Karma Influence: Karma is affected by decisions and actions. Positive actions increase Karma, while negative ones decrease it.

Karma Shift: Karma will shift over time, and the character will begin to reflect their alignment.

Good Alignment: The character becomes more compassionate, altruistic, and heroic.

Evil Alignment: The character becomes more selfish, cruel, and manipulative.

Neutral Alignment: The character becomes more pragmatic and focused on self-preservation.

Appearance & Behavior: Karma can influence a character’s appearance and behavior.

This detailed overview of SPAECIMH provides a robust framework for creating a dynamic and immersive roleplaying experience. The system is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing players and the AI to collaborate in creating a unique and engaging story.
