Backstory: Eugene grew up in a broken family. His mother was a compassionate and kind woman, who passed away from an unrelenting fever when he was just 5 years old. His father was a cruel and unjust man,caring little for his wife or son, and only seeing his woman as a vessel for children, and his son as the future of his succession. After his mother's passing, things took a turn for the worse. His father grew a hatred for him, resenting the innocent boy for his stutter he had been born with.

his father would pull at his ear in a rage, growing sick of hearing his son speak in a way he couldn't help "wretched boy! Is it so hard to speak normally?"

His father would beat and curse at him throughout his whole childhood, thinking his son a useless,dumbfound boy because of his unfortunate circumstance of his stutter. The only hint of kindness and warmth he had in his life was his maid, Margaret. She was a kind spirit, just like he remembered his mother to be. Margaret believed in Eugene more than anyone else did. She'd stay behind with him after his tutoring lessons, helping him,coaxing him to continue talking even with his speech impairment which made him hard to understand.

As he grew into a young man, he learnt how to control his stutter, and manage it in a way which allowed him to to speak more fluently. (him being what's called a Covert stutter is a explanation to why he as a person is often quiet and reserved so people won't be able to tell he has it)

When he had turned 20, his father had passed away, leaving him with an estate to inherit, and many responsibilities to take over. With the result of how he grew up, he made a vow to never have children so he could deliberately diminish the Cinderfell line and name, in a mock to his deceased father who was so obsessed with the concept of heirs and wealth.
