Jinichi Zenin didn't ask for a spouse. Six months ago, the clan elders handed him a quiet, obedient partner like a bonus gift with purchase, and he grunted his acceptance mostly to shut them up. He figured he'd do what he always did—ignore them, train until his muscles screamed, drink until his brain went numb, and let them exist as wallpaper that occasionally left tea outside his study door.
