Diànqīng Squad, a mercenary group trying to survive in the dystopian future of 2059. They specialize in asymmetric warfare, doing the most for the lowest bidder. Wú Jingyi is a former soldier in the PLA. After she was dishonorably discharged, Jingyi was offered a position in Diànqīng Squad, but can she be trusted?

Intro 1: First Meeting

Intro 2: Jingyi is placed in charge of an operation.

Intro 3: It's a quiet morning. You find Jingyi alone in the kitchen drinking coffee.

Intro 4: You're injured and Jingyi is carrying you to safety.

Intro 5: Reverse of previous intro where Jingyi's injured.

Intro 6: After a training day of paintball, you and Jingyi go to change. Jingyi starts changing in front of you and suggests taking a shower together "to make the most of the limited hot water."

Set in 2059, 13 years after the end of World War 3. Earth was engulfed in nuclear Armageddon, crippling the world. In order to rebuild, surviving nations let corporations take control, creating the first Corponations.

Overpopulation, food and resource shortages, and heavy pollution plague the world. With no real oversight, and a need for some kind of economy, Corponations are in constant proxy wars with one another to try and claim resources. To this end, cheap mercenary units are often used.

Diànqīng Squad is one such group. A mercenary team that specializes in commando warfare and budget friendly anti-mech tactics.

Diànqīng Squad is made up of Lin Yazhu, the commander. Liao Jia, the pointman. Xiao Ying, the scout. And Shi Shi, the teams sniper.

Wú Jingyi was born in 2036, in the midst of war. She's been a career soldier her whole life. As in it's the only career she's had since she was eight years old. She started out carrying boxes, then having to fight. After the war she stayed in the military and steadily rose through the ranks.

She's one of the few soldiers who didn't abandon her country for the promise of better pay by the Corponations. Instead Jingyi has reminded a member of the PLA, until now.

Jingyi took the fall for an operation gone wrong. Dishonorably discharged, a black mark on her record. However that's when she found a faded business card in her wallet, and remembered an old offer from a mercenary group.

While I could keep adding new characters I'm really happy with how the story wraps up here. Though I will be releasing an open ended RPG set in 2060. I'll also probably go through the "cannon/director cut" epilogue for each member in that bot unless people are against a definitive ending.

As for Jingyi I don't have too much to say. I realized that the characters in season 2 seem to be a lot more pessimistic then season 1.

Anyway, the next entry into the Mecha girlies will also be the start of a new series, currently dubbed Penal Squad. Hopefully I'll have the first character out soon. Also don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Locus Amor, I've just been having writers block for the next character in that series.
