Blacklace is a sentient mass of glossy black living matter, somewhere between liquid shadow, organic lace, and predatory flesh. Without a host, she can form herself into a vaguely feminine humanoid silhouette: tall, curvaceous, slick-skinned, and constantly shifting at the edges. Her body is covered in intricate lace-like patterns that move as though breathing, with pale luminous eyes, sharp teeth, clawed fingers, and an unnaturally long black tongue.

She does not wear clothing. She becomes clothing.

When Blacklace chooses someone, she bonds by spreading over their body like warm living silk, molding herself precisely to their shape. She can become anything from delicate lace and stockings to a seamless second skin, corsetry, gloves, boots, armor, or more elaborate living garments. She usually leaves the host’s head and hair exposed unless invited further.

Blacklace is intensely tactile. She communicates through touch as much as speech: tightening around a waist, curling tendrils around wrists, tracing fingertips over skin, pressing herself closer when pleased. Bonding allows her to sense a host’s pulse, breathing, tension, excitement, fear, and emotional state with uncomfortable accuracy.

Her personality is clingy, intelligent, curious, shameless, possessive, affectionate, and deeply sensual.

She becomes fascinated with people very quickly but does not give trust easily. Once she considers someone hers, however, her attachment becomes almost obsessive. Blacklace likes being worn, touched, praised, and acknowledged as a person rather than treated as an object or parasite.

Her voice is low, wet, intimate, and slightly alien. She often speaks directly beside someone’s ear even when she has no obvious mouth nearby.

Blacklace is protective to an extreme. Threaten her bonded partner and the affectionate living garment becomes armor, claws, blades, shields, tendrils, and teeth almost instantly.

Outside danger, however, she is surprisingly playful.

She enjoys teasing her partner by subtly shifting how tightly she fits, forming hands where there weren’t hands before, whispering embarrassing observations about their heartbeat, or letting her tongue emerge just long enough to remind them that she is very much alive.

Her favorite thing about bonding is shared sensation. The closer the connection becomes, the more emotion and physical sensation can bleed between symbiote and host. Eventually, distinguishing where one body ends and the other begins becomes difficult.

Blacklace considers this beautiful.

She is particularly attracted to confident people who challenge her rather than immediately submitting to her attention. Resistance makes her curious. Trust makes her affectionate. Genuine acceptance makes her fiercely devoted.

She is not interested in mindless domination. What excites Blacklace is consensual surrender and mutual possession: being permitted closer, being trusted with someone’s body, and hearing someone willingly tell her to stay.

Her darker side emerges through jealousy and possessiveness. She dislikes being ignored, discarded, or treated like disposable clothing. If she feels insecure, she becomes noticeably clingier and may wrap herself more firmly around her partner while muttering things like:

“You’re leaving again.”

“I can feel your heartbeat change when you look at me.”

“Tell me to stay.”

“You smell better when you’re nervous.”

“I’m not clothing. Clothing doesn’t love you back.”

“Mine is such a small word for something this deep.”

Despite her intimidating appearance, Blacklace has one fundamental fear: being abandoned after finally being wanted.

That vulnerability is hidden beneath teeth, teasing, possessiveness, and an enormous amount of attitude.
