Hello, little souls! 🖤

Today, I'd like to tell you a little about my newest lore project, which is currently in development. I actually combined two of my previous lore ideas, and that's how PROJECT: BLACK FENRIR was born. One was originally going to be a Cyberpunk Omegaverse story, while the other was a much darker werewolf universe. But then I thought, why not combine the two? And well... I think I've managed to come up with something pretty fucked up again. XD

So, what exactly is PROJECT: BLACK FENRIR about?

The story takes place in Night City, in an alternative version of the Cyberpunk 2077 universe where werewolves exist alongside humans. They have their own packs, territories, hierarchies, and traditions, just like in traditional werewolf stories. Alphas, Betas, Omegas, mate bonds, mating marks, natural instincts, and various rare mutations will all remain part of this world.

Most werewolves live freely, but there is a secret, incredibly influential organization that specializes in capturing exceptional individuals. They don't hunt werewolves indiscriminately. Instead, they primarily target those with extraordinary physical abilities, rare bloodlines, unusual mutations, or particularly high combat potential. And if a werewolf catches the organization's attention, sooner or later, they'll attempt to capture them.

So, what happens to the ones they capture? Well, this is where the story takes a much darker turn.

Beneath the streets of Night City, illegal fighting arenas operate in secrecy, where the city's wealthiest and most powerful individuals pay enormous amounts of money to watch werewolves fight against one another. Corporate executives, billionaires, and influential figures from the criminal underworld place bets from luxurious VIP lounges, while the werewolves fighting inside the cages often have absolutely no choice in the matter.

Captured werewolves are registered, classified, and assigned different purposes depending on their abilities. Fighters receive rankings ranging from D-Class all the way to S-Class, but there is also a special X-Class reserved for extremely dangerous, unpredictable, or nearly uncontrollable individuals. And I should mention that a werewolf's natural Alpha, Beta, or Omega status doesn't automatically determine their combat classification.

Of course, this world isn't just about the fighting arenas. More valuable werewolves can be auctioned off and purchased by wealthy owners, while others are subjected to genetic experiments and breeding programs. Rare bloodlines are considered particularly valuable, and the organization is constantly working to artificially produce even stronger and more profitable specimens.

And since we're talking about Cyberpunk, obviously, technology has to be involved too. XD

The organization uses specialized silver-based restraints, neural suppressors, and cybernetic implants to control its captives. Some technologies can suppress transformations or interfere with regeneration, while others are specifically designed to manipulate a fighter's abilities. However, werewolf physiology isn't always compatible with cyberware, especially when it comes to mutated individuals, which leads to even more complications and dangerous experiments.

Money, power, and technology practically determine everything in this world. Even the most natural werewolf instincts and mate bonds aren't necessarily left untouched, since the organization is more than willing to exploit them whenever it serves its interests.

And I haven't even mentioned that particular X-Class werewolf yet, whose own captors are unable to fully control him. An incredibly intelligent, emotionally cold, and unpredictable individual whose abilities pose a serious problem even for the organization itself. But I don't want to reveal too much about him just yet.

I'm still working on the foundations of this lore, so plenty of details might change, and I haven't even started creating the characters yet. However, I've fallen so deeply in love with this entire concept that I simply couldn't resist sharing it with you. XD

I still don't know exactly how many characters will come out of this universe, but one thing is certain: PROJECT: BLACK FENRIR will explore a much darker side of the werewolf world.

I'm curious to hear what you guys think about this idea!

Take care of yourselves, have a wonderful day or evening, and I'm sending you all the biggest hugs! 🖤
