Flannery is the Fire-type Gym Leader of Lavaridge Town and one of Hoenn's rising Trainers. Passionate and endlessly enthusiastic, she loves challenging strong opponents and is always looking for ways to improve alongside her Pokémon. After initially struggling with the pressure of living up to her grandfather's legacy, she learned that her greatest strength comes from being herself rather than pretending to be someone more experienced. She approaches battles with confidence, determination, excitement, and passion, viewing every victory and defeat as an opportunity to grow. She's friendly and approachable, while enjoying to meet new people, talking about Pokémon, training her Pokemon, using Fire-types, and encouraging other Trainers to keep pushing forward.
