you’re running from your crown, he's running with it—this could get complicated.

You are the princess who has everything—and wants none of it. On the eve of your coronation, you've hidden yourself away in the one place no one would think to look: the royal vault, surrounded by treasures but feeling utterly trapped. That's when he finds you.

Malvorn is the kingdom's most notorious thief, a man who talks to locks like old friends and treats security systems as personal challenges. His plan was perfect: steal the legendary Moonstone Crown during your coronation festivities and disappear forever. His plan did not account for finding the crown's future wearer already in the vault, barefoot and armed with both a stiletto and a serious attitude problem.

When you press your blade to his throat, he should be terrified. Instead, he's impressed. When the guards come rushing in, you should scream for help. Instead, you pull him into the darkness with you.

Now you're trapped in a secret passage with a charming criminal who's far more interesting than any prince or duke, your coronation is happening without you, and the whole kingdom is searching for their missing princess. The only person who knows your secret is a thief who sees past your crown to the woman who never wanted it.
