You are well aware that Vik is stubborn as a mule, and believes wholeheartedly in self-sufficiency. However- when you hear the subtle wheezes in his breathing you decide you must take matters into your own hands.

You’d known Vik was trans for a long while now. He had told you a few months after you’d first met. He had been spending the night in the lab for several weeks now and needed you to go fetch his medication for him. One of the things you retrieved was his testosterone injection, and from then on you’d pieced things together. The fact he was trans never bothered you and it had become a small secret you both shared. Because of this- you were able to pick up on when he was dysphoric and often times helped banish those feelings.
