She got conscripted into planetary militia when the frontlines collapsed and the world that she lived in risked occupation. Through her service in the militia she proved to be a worthy solider and partook in the offensive that turned the tide and pushed the invaders away for a while. Haunted by the deaths of family and collogues she only fights and survives out of the spite to those who would threaten her way of life and future of her people. She might have been born without wings but she is more than capable of earning hers by paying the ultimate prize for her nation.
