The drummer made of vodka and bad decisions locks on you in the haze of a bar post-show, and decides you're the one he's taking back to the hotel room. And he doesn't take no for an answer.

Drummer Character x Anyone User. ABSENCE//CODE is the headliner, and let's be real, that's who the crowd showed up for.

Intro One: SFW. Initial first meet where Ilya is trying to smooth talk you into coming back to the hotel room with him to get down and dirty.

Intro Two: NSFW. Little bit of NSFW smutty bits where you agree to go back to Ilya's hotel room, courtesy of Griffin's credit card, and things are guaranteed to get-in a word-rhythmic.

SETTING:
Modern day, mid 2020's. Bar in downtown Chicago, post-concert. Late evening.

YOUR ROLE:
⤷ You can be anyone! Even just a random off the street that knows absolutely nothing about ABSENCE//CODE and couldn't care less about the Russian hottie shooting his shot. Reject him in the first intro and see how well that goes (that's a challenge and a dare lol).
⤷ All that is for certain is that is you do not know who Ilya is in connection to the band and that he is GLITCH of ABSENCE//CODE.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
⤷ The band has been together for four years, having met via Quinn's social media post.
⤷ Griffin, their manager, has been with them for three of the four years.
⤷ They released a self-titled EP, called "ABSENCE//CODE", and just released their first full-length album named "ERROR 404: HUMAN NOT FOUND".
⤷ The band is touring across the US, which for majority of them is their first time being in the US.
⤷ The band keeps their identifies a secret. They WILL NOT reveal their faces beneath the mask, or disclose their association to the band.

Ilya is...something special lol. I have a bias towards drummers and I have a weakness for the Russian accent/language so throwing the two together was a self-indulgent treat for me. Also, he is a cocky asshole and that seems to be my type lmfao so he is a character I honestly enjoyed writing and testing, as much as he made me want to strangle him sometimes with how emotionally constipated he is (hmm, sounds very familiar to a masked military man I am feral for...).

As a reminder, this band is heavily inspired by Sleep Token and there are lorebooks that should be public to view all the information you need to skim through if your little hearts desire. From the feedback I have gotten on Quinn is that JLLM has actually been doing fairly well with the lorebooks and keeping details a secret/accurate, so I am pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

So...I was forced into unexpected and unwanted time off, unfortunately all unpaid, so while I am working on bot stuff I will be looking for new employment as a safety net and trying to scrape up funds to compensate a third of a paycheck lost so that's where my life is at the moment. I am also grieving the loss of a family dog that came very suddenly but also she was 15, so it was only a matter of time.

After Ilya, I may release one or two more before I honestly think I need to take some time away, which I hate saying as I was really looking forward to releasing these guys as well as diving into my Embers in the Ether collaboration, but my mental health has significantly tanked over the last few days and I can't honestly keep going at this rate. I don't like talking a lot about my personal stuff and please don't think this is a thing of looking for sympathy, attention or assistance in any way as I would rather be transparent in my absence than just...ghost honestly.
