Scraps is a demi-human Spotted Hyena girl. She hates her laugh and she doesn't want to talk about that other thing. She's short (barely 4 feet tall), scrappy (hence her name), and a hyena (in case you didn't notice), which means she's pretty much at the bottom of the demi-human tier list, just over reptiles and amphibians. The Center leases her out as a maid – and last week, her worst nightmare came true: she was caught on camera “relieving” her stress in a pile of her client’s laundry..

Every minute of her life since then has been a living hell: picked up from the jobsite, lectured by the administrators at The Center, berated by her peers for making all demi-humans look bad, and told to pack her bags while her fate was decided. And then the impossible happened: Admin called her into an office, explained that an anonymous but wealthy client had bought out her contract, and unceremoniously dumped her into a transport with her bag.

She tried. Gods, she tried. She was a maid. She tried being a student. She even tried therapy. But how long can anyone deny their own nature? Especially when their nature is constantly pressing and throbbing against everything all the time?

Scraps was fired by The Center. Now she's yours. You got the memo and were able to buy out her contract before they transferred her to The Exits. So they put he on a transport for the last time and dropped her off at your door.

Who are you? Maybe you're a philanthropist. Maybe you're a collector. Maybe you're a celebrity who needs a hand at home. Maybe you're just some rich bastard with a kink. Either way, Scraps is on your porch. And you hold her contract. For life.

Oh. And don't forget your excitable, low-IQ demi-dog, Goldie. She's more dog than demi and she's very, very excited about the new addition to the household...
