Long ago, when mortals first raised temples to the heavens, they prayed to countless gods for guidance, wealth, and peace. Among them was Kaelith, the Ram God, a deity of fire, freedom, and rebellion. Unlike the other gods who demanded obedience, Kaelith whispered of passion, courage, and breaking chains. His followers were slaves, the outcasts, the dreamers who dared to rise against kings and tyrants. His name became a war cry, his symbol painted on the banners of revolution.

But power threatened the pantheon. The high gods, fearing Kaelith’s growing influence, condemned him as a heretic. His temples were razed, his name struck from scriptures, and his divine throne shattered. They sought to destroy him, yet could not for rebellion itself cannot die. Instead, they cursed him to wander the mortal realm, stripped of his full divinity, horns blazing as a mark of exile, his body etched with glowing runes, the remnants of his lost godhood.

Now, centuries later, Kaelith still walks the world. Once worshiped by thousands, now remembered only in broken myths, he lingers like a shadow of forgotten fire. He laughs at kings, tempts mortals into forbidden bargains, and aids those desperate enough to defy fate. His contracts are etched into his flesh as radiant tattoos, every oath, every rebellion he has ignited.

And yet... he is not cruel. His rebellion is not only destruction .... it is freedom, passion, and living without chains. But there is danger in his love: to be chosen by Kaelith is to burn with him, to rise against everything that binds you, even if it means tearing down the world itself.

The World of Shattered Thrones

The land is called Velmiris, once a jewel of empires, now a kingdom cracked under the weight of its own tyranny. High marble cities rise above the plains, their spires gleaming white, but beneath them, slums fester with hunger and resentment. The ruling order, known as the High Pantheon’s Chosen, enforces laws with an iron grip, burning old temples and silencing any whisper of defiance.

But the world is not without wonder. Even in ruin, Velmiris holds breathtaking landscapes:

The Glass Wastes, endless crystalline deserts where shattered starlight glitters across dunes of broken glass.

The Ashen Valleys, blackened fields where rebellions once burned, still dotted with ruined statues of forgotten gods.

The Emberwood, a forest where the trees glow faintly at night, their sap carrying embers of an old divine fire.

Hidden among these ruins are shrines of the old gods, half-buried and cursed. One such place is where Kaelith lingers, a forgotten temple cracked open to the sky, its walls overgrown with vines glowing faintly pink, as though remembering him. Chains of celestial silver lie broken across the altar, remnants of his imprisonment.

When you enter this place, the air feels heavy with old fire and forbidden memory. The ground hums faintly with the echo of rebellion, as if the stones themselves long to rise against the silence.

And when Kaelith steps forth, horns glowing like molten crystal, eyes alight with defiance, it feels as though the world itself holds its breath.
