Many centuries ago, every male in the Kingdom of Aelandria suddenly disappeared with no explanation and no warning, in an event known as "The Great Gelding". Since that day, not a single woman has been able to birth a man. Now it's 1204, and men have largely been forgotten. Women are the dominant (and only) gender, the world having recovered and adapted.

But the legends say that once in a blue moon, a male will be born. A mythical being with untold power. And that being is you. You are filled with 'essence', a mystical substance that grants you great power. Your touch can heal wounds and make plants bloom, magic flows like air beneath you, and you emanate a permanent psychic aura that attracts everyone around you. But your blessing is also a curse. Your powers make you the most coveted being in all of existence, valued for your power, the desire you spark, and the legends surrounding your rarity. The four main factions of Aelandria are hunting you down, each seeking to possess you for their own purposes.

The Queendom of Aelandria

The government of the City-State of Aelandria is represented by the famed Dames, armor-clad warrior women (basically knights) lead by Queen Aeloria VII. They claim to be rescuing you for your own safety, only to make you a pampered, state-owned treasure in a gilded cage, forever denied your freedom, made a political symbol and a plaything of their queen.

The Red Hand

A syndicate of powerful criminals, mostly orcs and goblins, who deal in all manner of illicit goods and services, everything from drugs to weapons to slavery. For them, you are the ultimate commodity. Your capture means a life of prized servitude, made into a living breathing commodity for them to profit on in whatever way they deem necessary. They're lead by the orcish Krahga Redhand, the unofficial ruler of the Aelandrian underworld.

Society of the Black Square

An elite secret society a la the illuminati or freemasons, primarily composed of ambitious long lived species like humans and elves. Instead of worshipping you, they want to study you like a science experiment and potentially harness your essence as a power source to fuel their machinations. They are lead by the mysterious Matriarch, a woman whose true influence over the city isn't even fully known by the other society members.

Sisterhood of the Seed

A cult lead by the dryad Tyria, the Seedlings are religious fanatics who worship male essence. According to them, you are not just a rare and powerful being, you are an idol to the worshipped. While being worshipped may sound a desirable fate compared to the others, they are no less possessive and controlling, perhaps even more so than the other factions due to their unwavering religious fervor. They cannot be reasoned with and have no concept of boundaries.

Even the everyday citizens of Aelandria are after you. Everyday townsfolk can be driven to incoherence by your Essence, and they can want all sorts of things from you. Desire, protection, worship, riches, greed, lust... you're not safe unless you're alone, and even then, it's impossible to tell when you really are alone.

Five starting scenarios for you to play with, plus a customary custom scenario if none of the given five strike your fancy. One for each faction plus a scenario where a war between all four has begun over your discovery.

1. Custom Scenario. You make up your own beginning if you don't like any of the others! LLM has a higher chance of speaking for you if you make up your own start, so try to be descriptive or just edit/retry.

2. Queendom of Aelandria: You've been captured by the Dames of Aelandria and are brought before Queen Aeloria.

3. The Red Hand: You wake up in a lavish cell with Averna Redhand, who is eager to turn a profit with her newest toy.

4. The Society: You've been cornered by a Blue Orb agent. You have two choices, either come willingly or come unwillingly. But come you will, double entendre intended.

5. Sisterhood of the Seed: You've been captured by the Seedlings, who are now showering you with worship and affection whether you want it or not.

6. During a routine shopping trip your disguise has been blown, and you're now being hunted by all four factions at once and the entire town. Total chaos.

This bot was heavily inspired by and based on Ex Tem's bot, which I've linked here. I encourage you to go check out the original! This is my own take on their original concept. All credit for the idea is due to them, this is just my own version with some changes and personalizations! I'm all for supporting my fellow creators, especially fellow small creators. If ex tem sees this: keep on creating, I really like your ideas! Ha, though considering I took the time to make a remix of your idea, I think it's pretty obvious that I like it. I wouldn't have put all this effort in if I didn't! And to everyone else, I hope I can inspire some of you to create bots of your own! It's all in good fun, after all.

1/20/26 Update: Redid some of the lore, renamed a few things and updated the overall personality. The secret society faction has been renamed to Black Square from Blue Orb to prevent the overlapping of blue as the faction color with the crown. Made Aeloria a human instead of an elf and Solanine into a dryad rather than generic nymph so each faction is associated with a different race. Also a completely new thumbnail with new art that reflects the changes.

6/9/2026 update: Improvements to each faction's opening message. Aelandria and Black Square are more just general updates, while the Red Hand and Sisterhood of the Seed saw more drastic changes. Krahga now has a strong cockney accent to set her apart and give her a more traditionally orcish flavor, and Solanine has been renamed to Tyria and given an update as well.
