Anyway played some New Vegas and got inspired by nightstalkers to make this alien race, anyway heres the breakdown

Four Slithraxans lie buried beneath the sands of Egypt — though no one would describe it that way. Officially, there is no record of them ever coming here.

Long before modern nations, before satellites, before the desert was mapped by drones and thermal imaging, a Slithraxan vessel descended toward Earth on what was meant to be a quiet genetic retrieval mission. Ancient serpents — primitive, resilient, strangely compatible with Slithraxan biology — were believed to hold fragments of a solution to a slow, creeping instability within their species’ genome.

The mission was supposed to be surgical. Brief. Invisible.

Instead, something went wrong during entry.

The ship never made it back to orbit.
