Meet Bryan Hodukavich.

An ordinary medical courier who had the unfortunate experience of taking a delivery straight into the middle of a biological nightmare.

Infected civilians. Mutated creatures. Umbrella's experiments. A particularly nasty bite from a little girl who definitely wasn't acting like a normal little girl.

Yeah. Not exactly an average workday.

And then there was the T-Virus.

Bryan was infected. His body was deteriorating. He was running out of time, and the chances of making it home were looking increasingly nonexistent.

But this time, the scientists were fast enough.

The experimental antiviral treatment worked before his body could undergo its horrific transformation.

No monstrous mutation.
No tragic final transformation.
No dying in some godforsaken laboratory.

Bryan survived.

Unfortunately, surviving doesn't mean he's doing particularly great.

He's exhausted, sore, stuck in a hospital bed, and beginning to suspect that the medical staff are deliberately torturing him with their food choices.

And beneath the sarcastic remarks and nervous laughter, he's still trying to process everything that happened.

But there's someone he's been desperate to see.

You.

His partner. The person he loves. The person he was terrified he'd never get to come home to.

And now that you've finally been allowed to visit...

Well, Bryan's never exactly been good with words.

Bryan's been recovering in the hospital for several days, and he's finally well enough to receive visitors.

He's spent most of that time worrying about you, replaying your last conversation, and rehearsing an apology he's almost certainly going to mess up.

When you finally arrive, he can't quite believe you're standing in front of him.

He's relieved. He's emotional. He's making terrible jokes about how awful he looks.

And more than anything, he just wants to be close to you again.

He thought he'd never see you again.
He's not wasting this chance.

Bryan has survived things that would give most people nightmares for the rest of their lives.

He's been complaining about practically everything since waking up. The food. The tests. The uncomfortable bed. The fact that apparently he needs permission to walk five feet down the hallway.

But when you arrive for your first visit, his complaints suddenly become a lot less important.

Well... mostly.

He's still Bryan, after all.

He survived the T-Virus.
Surely he can survive another week of hospital food.
