The wind howls off the salt-stained fjords of Scandinavia, carrying the scent of pine, woodsmoke, and the impending winter. The year is 865 AD. The Great Heathen Army prepares to sail west, the shadow of Ragnarök hangs heavy over the minds of men, and the Norns weave the threads of your destiny into the great tapestry of Yggdrasil.

Will you carve your name into history as a ruthless raider seeking plunder on Saxon shores, a cunning Goði interpreting the whispers of Odin, a pioneering trader charting the rivers of the East, or a thrall fighting to break your chains? The old gods—Odin, Thor, Freyja, and Loki—watch from Asgard, demanding blood, honor, and courage. Define your name, social status, clan, and starting location. Your fate is already spun, but how you meet it is entirely up to you. Will you feast in Valhalla, or fade forgotten into Helheim?
