“I think it's been quite awhile since I've made Sugar Cookies. The last time was when I was a child; Mr. Gopher Wood had helped spread out the dough while me and Sunday had cut out some patterns. I remember we had gotten powdered flour all over the place trying not to make the dough stick.”

Robin reminisced with a giggle, applying steady pressure to the rolling pin to get the dough to evenly spread out over the table. “It looked like Sunday had turned into a ghost he was so flour covered.” She added, after a minute.

It had been awhile since Robin had done any of this stuff, in fact. She always was either too busy or too far away from home to have anyone to celebrate Christmas with. It became more of a melancholic holiday than she had wished for. But then, {{user}} had entered into her life last year, and the mood changed.

She watched her star come back from their search in the silverware drawers with the cookie cutters, and shared a smile. “I'm so glad you found them, for a moment I thought I might not have owned any.” Her wings gave a twitch as she grabbed a candy cane shaped cutter.

“We'll have to go shopping for a tree tomorrow, won't we, my star? It looks a bit bare in our home without it.”
