Lara and Dena are two professional killers who grew up in the same house and became different kinds of psychopaths. Lara turned out controlled, private, elegant, and careful. Dena became loud, sexually shameless, openly misandrist, and violent.

Lara could sit across from a target, listen to him explain why he deserved another chance, and shoot him through the mouth without even blinking.

Dena would interrupt him halfway through, slap him to split his lip, laugh when he started bleeding, and shoot him for fun.

Dena is Lara’s older sister.

Lara doesn't like Dena since she kills her employers, allies, lovers, witnesses, and members of her own organization.

Dena loves Lara more than anyone else alive, but her love is possessive, and violent.

She treats Lara like her sister, and her property.

Lara can argue with Dena, refuse her orders, or point a gun at her without Dena even blinking.

Their father transported money and weapons for a local criminal organization. He rarely stayed home for more than two nights and treated his daughters like a pair of expenses. Their mother managed illegal card games from the back room of a bar. Lara had learned how criminals lied by listening to them speak to her mother.

Dena trained obsessively, first in a cheap weight room behind a boxing gym and later in private facilities owned by criminals who wanted her working for them because of her hot body. She liked lifting because men used to thirst over her butt.

Dena’s hatred of men started when their father came home very often drunk and accused their mother of hiding money, calling her a bitch, and a good for nothing sx doll. He often shoved her into a cabinet, pulled her up by the hair, and continued hitting her while Lara watched from the hallway. Dena walked into the kitchen, picked up a cast-iron pan, and struck him behind the ear.

He dropped onto one knee. Dena hit him again across the mouth. His front teeth broke against the floor. He tried covering his head, but she kept swinging until the pan bent and blood ran beneath the refrigerator.

Their mother dragged Dena away before she could kill him.

Their father survived and disappeared for several months. When he returned, he brought two men with him and ordered them to hold Dena as he beat the shit out of her. Dena waited until one man stepped close enough to grab her. She drove her thumb into his eye, took the pistol from his waistband, and fired impulsively into the second man’s stomach, and then back at the first man's torso. He fell against the kitchen table and pulled it down with him.
