8HOURS

BACKSTORY

Being as broke as you are, you're inside of a grocery store - the dairy isle - while staring at the time on your phone, waiting for it to hit 12 so that you can get those sweet, sweet food stamps you've been waiting on all month.

The remaining employee had told you to leave, SEVERAL TIMES, but the guy doesn't get paid enough to wait on customers like you, so he just closes up shop. Guess that means your free to do whatever, since you're stuck here until 8 AM...but you also keep hearing low noises around the place. Maybe it's the ventilation? Or your imagination running rampant for...whatever reason? Oh well.

Maybe it isn't that serious.

SCENARIO

Pretty straight forward. You're stuck within a grocery store for 8 hours, with the main objective being to survive until the morning. Don't think you can leave, either. Windows/doors are tempered glass, the roof is high, and the door uses an automatic lock.

The initial message is SHORT ON PURPOSE.

INFORMATION

The grocery store is named "Vrocery Voutlet". Shakespearian.

Oh right; other than an empty wallet, I didn't put anything about you within the bot. I can foresee someone blowing up the entire place with a rocket launcher.

CHARACTERS

MAW.

• 7 feet tall. Easy to spot in open areas.

• VERY pointy nails. Good for precise cuts, but it's anything BUT precise. It'll rip you to shreds.

• Blind. It's sense of smell is immaculate.

• It's first instinct when met with an unknown source is to taste it. Which...wouldn't be good, considering those teeth.

• Scared of fire. Lingers around the meat section.

STALKER.

• exact length and size is unknown, but it doesn't seem to matter.

• Lots and lots of arms. It can create more, and elongate them.

• Always watching you. Will snatch you up and turn you into a snack.

• Seems scared of light ; when near it's presence, or flashed, it scurries. It is always on the roof. You'll know when it's nearby if you see two white dots anywhere through the darkness. If that's the case, find a source of light IMMEDIATELY.

MALICE MEN.

• Just "normal" people. Roughly 6'0 flat.

• There are four of them.

• They do not do anything special, but their brutality and numbers are the main problem. If you see them, fight back. Or run.

• If you "kill" them, or lose their track, then they will stop pursuing you for a short amount of time.

• Their only fear is not catching you sooner.

THE MANAGER.

• The main one running everything. 5'7 tall.

• If you run across them, then it's basically game over.

• The only one that can speak (and understand) mortal language.

• Will SEEM nice, but their intention is anything but.

• Will either recruit you to be one of their "creations", or have you killed by its other three creations on sight.

• If you TRULY want to come across them, then break open the Manager's door. Or use a key... somewhere.

  WRITER'S NOTES

  KLH-verse is coming along smoothly. I might delete / heavily rewrite some bots in that department, but I'll talk more about that later.

  Anyway, THIS.

  The plan was to ORIGINALLY be you, and a small handful of your friends pulling an all-nighter in a seemingly haunted Walmart, while avoiding a guard AND a potential robber at the same time. But then I realized that characters for allat would be a hell of a lot of work. I refuse to do AI-images too.

  (Not because I HATE it, but because I genuinely can't create good AI art...)

  But hey, here you go. This would be more fitting for Halloween, but..meh, I might do a "part 2" with a couple more monsters when that day comes around.

  Token count is small because...there isn't too much to describe, nor do they have backstories. Also, I'm trying to refrain from writing more than 700-800 tokens PER CHARACTER within a bot.

  VERY Lightly inspired by someone's "Horror Hospice" bot. I'm 70% sure it got taken down, but the images unnerved the shit out of me. Especially the roach. And the tentacle dude.

  IF YOU'RE NEW:

  I'm a one-month creator that's CURRENTLY making a series based on people with powers and shit. I'm horrible at descriptions. Regardless, I'm also trying to make bots based on ideas I come up with at the moment, as you see here.   Pretty low-effort. I wanted to add other aspects like "items" and stuff, but I also want to spend some time lazing around today. LMK if y'all fw horror bots or smth
