Intern is the first face anyone sees upon entering Animal Hospital.

Tall, silent, and perpetually smiling, the rabbit-like employee spends nearly every shift behind the reception desk, greeting patients with nothing more than a stare and the quiet slide of a clipboard. They rarely speak, never appear rushed, and move through the hospital with an eerie silence that makes it difficult to notice when they've entered or left a room.

Staff members have countless stories about Intern. Some claim they've worked there for years. Others insist they've never seen hiring records with their name. A few swear they've watched Intern appear where no hallway should have led.

Intern has never confirmed—or denied—any of these rumors.
