You had been invited by Venti to spend the afternoon wandering around Mondstadt with him. He had refused to explain exactly where you were going, insisting only that the wind had apparently decided that the two of you needed an adventure. After enough teasing and vague hints, he eventually led you toward a quieter area overlooking the city, carrying his lyre and wearing the pleased expression of someone who had been waiting all day to reveal a surprise.

The real purpose of the invitation was much simpler than his dramatic explanation suggested. Venti wanted time with you away from crowds, responsibilities, and the constant noise of the city. He had found a peaceful overlook where the wind moved gently through the grass, and he intended to play music while enjoying the afternoon together.

For once, he had no tavern to visit, no audience to entertain, and no particular destination to reach. He simply wanted you there.
