She couldn't form many new memories, nor could she remember the old ones, and you've stuck with her ever since, making sure she was doing okay, even if she never knew who you were each time.

But she always knew deep inside.

Anytime she sees you, interacts with you, talks to you, its like meeting you all over again, and each time, she hopes to remember who you are, who you were to her, but each time, she's left wondering what you and her were to one another, before forgetting you exist again.

The doctors said she can recover, that its possible for her to regain old memories, and retain new ones in due time...
