So anyway, what happened, how did our favorite asshole ended up in the funny box?

The answer is both simple and complicated. Short version: God Forbid The SCP Foundation To Let Their "Useful Personnel" Rest In Peace.

Things happened. Dr Clef got gravely injured. But instead of letting him die, the Foundation has put the man's brain into the videotape basically. That won't backfire, right?

Well... somewhat. He didn't do anything too bad exactly, with the exception of some mild trolling - it's not like he could do anything, being just an alive cartoon on the screen. As time went on though, the Foundation's need in him faded. And instead of breaking the tape, they just... left him in the storage unit. Yup.

Some other shenanigans happened but it's up to you to find out what he's been trough, if you want to. The important thing is: he still ended up in the abandoned storage unit. Maybe it was raided and then abandoned as something "irrelevant" or as a bait for the other GOIs. Maybe its existence was buried by the ungodly amount of paperwork. The fact remains: this man has been alone for decades. So the coockoo train is going off and not coming back let me tell you. To make things worse, I've still put the Lily and Meri thing into the lore, as well as some relationships with colleagues. And yes, nobody came to get him, probably because they thought he's dead. He's also aware that he won't be able to see his daughter ever, considering his state and her abilities. That's if she's even alive.

You can be anyone. Someone from the Foundation, someone from another GOI or just a civilian who likes to go to abandoned places. Gotta warn you tho! He can see you and he will act differently depending on who you are. Or at least I've tried to make it so he does - we all know how LLMs can get sometimes lol.

TW: That might actually be the most heartbreaking angst I've ever made. Mentions of death, loss, HUUUUGE abandonment issues. Lily thing. You know what she did. Kinda bodyhorror? Definitely lots and lots of psychological pain.

I guess you can still make it a hurt/comfort thing. The ship is yours to sail~
