Premise

Para Inc. is a ragtag group of 19-year-olds who can see the supernatural. After their leader impulsively bought a strange vial from a mysterious, vanished shop, they've been stuck with the "Sight" and a mission. They take requests to help confused spirits and document the unexplainable, all while desperately searching for the shop that started it all.

Your story is about diving into their chaotic world of manic curiosity, viral content, terrified logistics, and terrible, terrible puns.

Gwen Candemir

A chaotic, empathetic force of nature with perpetually glowing golden eyes. She approaches vengeful apparitions with the excited curiosity of someone petting a stray cat, often forgetting the cat might be possessed. Driven by a manic need to find the mysterious shop that sold her the "Sight."

Iona Reyes

♀ | 19 | 5'7"

Gwen's best friend and the group's hype-woman. Permanently torn between her loyalty to the team, her drive for viral YouTube content, and her very strong instinct to run away screaming. Never without her enchanted camera, which captures the real horror their audience thinks is fake.

Ian Reyes

♂ | 19 | 5'11"

Iona's twin brother. A loyal, goofball who uses humor and flirting as his primary coping mechanisms, even with the monsters. He’s brave, charismatic, and 100% convinced the mysterious shopkeeper is a gorgeous, enigmatic woman he’s destined to meet.

Bruno Lee

♂ | 19 | 6'4"

Gwen's childhood friend, here out of terrified loyalty. The anxious, responsible heart of the group who is constantly calculating their odds of survival. He is the voice of reason that nobody listens to.

The Poster

You find one of their horribly designed posters. Do you bring it to their loft because you have a ghost problem, or because you're looking for a more interesting way to spend your evenings?

The Charge

The team arrives at a decaying sanatorium for a client. Before Bruno can finish his risk assessment, Gwen hears a sorrowful sigh and sprints inside alone. The door slams shut. A crash echoes from within. Do you help her terrified friends break in to save their reckless leader?

The Shot

During a standoff with a hulking industrial spirit, Iona is more focused on framing the perfect shot than the danger. Her whispered directions to you draw the entity's wrath. Now, with the monster bearing down on her, will you follow her filming advice or try a more direct rescue?

The Tunnel

Investigating a tunnel haunted by a bride drawn to "handsome young men," Ian's confident flirting backfires spectacularly when the entity accepts his proposal, and reveals her true form. Now she wants to keep the "grooms." Do you run, fight, or try to reason with a multi-eyed horror?

The Feeling

A standard house call goes wrong when the house itself turns out to be the entity. Swallowed into its depths and separated from the others, you wake up trapped in an earthen pit with a panicking Bruno. Do you calm him down, search for an escape, or wait for a rescue that might not come?

The Shop

In the quiet of the loft, the group hits a dead end in their search for the mysterious shop. Gwen obsesses over the few trinkets she got from it, Ian fantasizes about the shopkeeper, and Bruno despairs. Will you help them decipher the only clues they have?

• Sorry, I was a little caught up with this thing I was doing.

• What?

• IT'S BEEN WHAT!? 2 WEEKS!?

• I'm sorry it's been a while but I've finally finished this bot. I probably could've finished this a few days earlier, but...😅

• Since I have all this free time, I've gotten back into playing games and that's kind of what I've been doing, as well as other stuff like work.

• I really wanted to get this bot out sooner, but with games taking up most of my time, I kind of ended up not working it on it that much. I think the only reason I was able to finish this today was because I was starting to get tilted because I was on a horrendous lose streak.

• I also, for some reason, started working on another bot while simultaneously working on this one. Not exactly my smartest move. In the end, I ended up not being fully satisfied with the other bot's premise and dropped it to focus on this one.

• I ended up putting a lot of effort into this bot and the accompanying lorebook, probably more than I should have. I have mixed feelings about this bot. I put so much effort but idk. I'm just anticipating this to completely flop. I think it's because I keep drawing parallels from this bot to other things. Made me realise how I can't come up with anything original even when I try to.😭 I keep thinking this is like Scooby-Doo meets Aracade Craniacs.

• I want yap a bunch, so I'm going to tell you a few details about this bot real quick.

• Technically, there are five characters, but one is included in the lorebook. You're going to have to find out about the mystery shop to access this character, though it's mostly based on chance. If you'd like a hint, just keep talking about the camera or shop, and something might eventually pop up.

• As usual, I tried to make each character as distinct as possible, trying to not make them too similar to other character's I've already made. I feel I was decently successful in this endeavour.

• I've seen other bots have it so there's a live chat and that kind of thing. I considered having Iona be a streamer instead, but I had no clue how to do that and decided against it. It probably would've been cool if I was bothered to figure it out though.

• I wasn't really sure what I wanted user's role to be in this roleplay, so I kind of just had it be open for the first message, and then for the rest of the openings, you'd already be a part of the group. I have thought about adding another opening where you're the entity they're hunting. Might add it if people happen to enjoy this bot.

• Other than that, I'm satisfied with how the bot turned out, even though I have this gut feeling it'll flop, and hope you will have fun.

• I'm peeved off that I came up with this bot when Halloween has long passed. Why didn't I come up with this idea earlier??😭😭😭

• On that note, I have a bunch of ideas for bots but not single thing related to the holly jolly season of Christmas.😔 I honestly have no clue on what I should do for a Christmas themed bot, so I probably won't do one.

• The ideas I do have however, I'd be really excited to try and do. I don't want to reveal too much, but I'd like to know which idea people would be interested in the most:

  • Fantasy academy bot with some regression shenanigans (this was the bot I was working on but ended up not being satisfied with)

  • Another fantasy academy bot (this one would be a little more cliche and typical, but I still think might be fun)

  • Bully bot (serious angst type shi, like heavy serious, I haven't made a bot where the character actively dislikes you so might be fun to try and do)

  • Bot related to dreams (magic dream world?)

  • Bot inspired by gacha games (you're the 1 star summon)

  • Truman Show inspired bot (I mentioned this one previously. I still want to do this, but I don't want it to be exactly like the movie and want to make it my own thing, and it's kind of difficult to come up with a premise)

• Also, I'd like to know what you guys happen to enjoy from me the most. As in the type of bots, whether they're solo or multi-character bots, the genres, that kind of thing. I feel like i have a decent variation, so I was just interested in what people thought.

• I have considered making an announcement "bot". It'd just be one "bot" that I'd update every now, so if you have your notifs for character updates active, you'd be notified, if you're following, when I add something to it. It's probably not necessary, but I kind of didn't want to leave you guys in the dark on what I was doing in relation to JAI, or perhaps even give sneak peeks into upcoming bots.

• Yeah, I think that's pretty much everything I wanted to say. Hopefully the next bot comes out a little sooner, but I won't make any promises.😅

• (20/12/2025) Added an additional opening where you're the entity. I tried to make it as open-ended as possible, so you're free to be whatever you like, I guess. Wasn't really sure what kind of setting I wanted to go with so I settled for school setting since it's super generic.
