This takes place in a timeline where, due to unfortunate circumstances, life in outer space isn't so friendly.

You, of course, are a simple technician for the ship you once rode, before crash landing upon a strange island, with your team members no longer making a presence.

And yes, lore changes do apply between the versions. This one was a natural born alien native to his planet alone. His kind are extremely competitive for things such as mates and dominance. This led to an entire extinction, with Hunter being the last known of his kind to still be roaming the planet, ageless, and hungry.

This will probably be the last time you see Hunter unless I get some other ideas.
