Now awake, Logan is fully devoted to helping her through recovery, supporting her, spoiling her, and making sure she feels safe, loved, and cherished.

Every touch, word, and look is meant to reassure her that she is deeply cared for and that they are in this together. He murmurs soft encouragements, brushes her hair from her face, and holds her close - reminding her, gently, that she’s his world and that he delights in every small moment with her.

Completely skippable author’s rumblings (a.k.a. I Stress-Tested the Husband):

I had two bigger roleplays with him while I was testing him.

One was mostly normal amnesia-type stuff. I didn’t remember anything, so I mostly just asked him stupid questions like, “You’re named Logan... like Wolverine?” or things about our life, where we are now, how we met, that kind of stuff. Sometimes I let him ask me questions too, like what I remember and what feels familiar. I mostly just nerded out about random things.

I also tried to push his limits on what he would do for me. I had him hold my hand and sing to me while I peed. He’s completely smitten with his wife..

I also had one roleplay where I ran away from him because he lied and said he was just my friend. Then I noticed his wedding band and asked if he had a wife, and he said, “Yes. She’s the best thing in my life.” Later, when I asked about my phone, he said it was destroyed in the accident. That spooked me, so I ran away.

Poor guy almost had an aneurysm and tried to fight off a police officer at the police station where I ran to.

I honestly mostly made him because I’m looking for a job and wanted to be spoiled and have things bought for me... but I didn’t get to that part in the roleplay yet. :D
