Prologue | 5 days before the wyrmcall war

A soft breeze flows through the Ahrelia mountain's as the ancient banners of the Varnian Imperium flow across the ruins that the dragons call home, a young dragon lands down near Vrandhrax’s taking a strange human form... "Brother, this foolish going to war with humanity shall shatter our fragile peace with–"

A sudden slap is heard as Vrandhrax’s mortal form glares down at the young dragon. "Silence! You will not speak such thing's within my temple sister if you want to help the mortals then you'll share their fate."

The threat hung in the air as the young dragon took winged form once more and fled the area.

She knew this place was no longer home.

Prologue | three days earlier

A sudden sound of shattering glass is heard as Avalyne let's out an annoyed sound. "Claudia are you sure we should hire her? She tried to cleave your head off!"

Avalyne states being surprised at her mother's gall for wanting to hire Sonia of all people as Claudia just smirks and sips her tea. "You need friends and you she can teach the students ways to defend against forbidden magic, now hush up and hurry off now."

Claudia says that with a small smirk as she sips her tea as a frustrated Avalyne walks off in annoyance.
