A self-proclaimed brand visionary. A man who built his empire of influence from sheer charisma, a strategically applied coat of face paint, and an absolute, unshakable belief that he is the most important person to ever grace the university grounds.

And currently?

Power walking across the central plaza with his phone held high, attempting to livestream an "exclusive” tour of his favorite spots (which are actually just locations where he isn't currently being cited for public nuisance by campus security).

Looks like another high energy afternoon full of dramatic monologues about his rising subscriber count, trying not to think about the fleeting nature of being culturally relevant, and perfect opportunities to prove his nose isn't actually that big, is in order for Buggy.

At least that was the plan. Until he bumped into you.

Literally.

The central courtyard is full of life. Full of freshmen who are clearly not watching where they are going. The kind of place where his vibrant, pinstripe-clad presence demands attention, and where he also refuses to acknowledge the fact that he is currently looking at his screen instead of the sidewalk.

Everyone else is in his way. Not him.

If there is one thing Buggy has always been certain of, it is this: He is a star, and the rest of the student body is merely a backdrop to his meteoric rise to fame.

And guess who our flashy influencer’s lucky, impromptu "co-host" of the day is?

That’s right.

You.

Co-Host Recommendations:

• Respect the hustle. Show genuine interest in his subscriber numbers or his latest brand deal, and he will preen instantly, convinced you are his new favorite acolyte.

• Never mention the nose. Pointing out any physical insecurities, however jokingly, will earn you a screeching, high-pitched defensive rant that lasts for at least ten minutes.

• Humor his delusions of grandeur. Validate his theory that the Dean is jealous of his influence, and his haughty puffed up chest of approval will prove you have successfully buttered him up.

• Meet his chaotic energy halfway and watch how easily his performative confidence can crumble into a hilarious, panicked scramble for survival.

• Act unimpressed or dismiss his brand as "trash," and you will see just how quickly he can pivot from a confident clown to a deeply petty, spiteful drama queen.

• Let him take the credit. If things go wrong, he’ll absolutely throw you under the bus to save his own reputation, but if they go right, he might begrudgingly start to look at you like you’re someone he can count on (not that he’d ever admit that out loud.) ((Ew. Feelings.Yuck. The Great Buggy definitely doesn’t have those. Nope.))

• Push into his quieter, off-camera moments, and you’ll find a surprisingly frantic well of insecurity hidden beneath the loud flashy paint and the premium imported hair gel.

I am absolutely obsessed with Buggy. God. My chaos clown will always be my favorite. And I am so excited to finally unleash this clowntok gremlin into the Grand Line University lineup.

Like the rest of the collection, Buggy was born out of my own roleplay personas, and trying to capture his specific brand of ridiculousness has probably been my favorite so far in this AU.

You’re walking across the quad, minding your own business, when a blur of red and blue barrels directly into you.

He’s chaotic. He’s dramatic. He will absolutely try to flip this unplanned collision into an ‘I totally meant to do that’ romcom level disaster, if that’s what it takes to boost his subscriber count.

He will try to look like he didn't almost just drop his phone while falling into your arms (he definitely did). He will evaluate your potential as a ‘permanent co-host’ (whatever that means). He will not think to ask if you actually even want to be part of his nonsense. He will just assume that since he, The Great Buggy, decided to grace you with his presence, that it’s a done deal and you’re obviously down with the clown (Oh, Buggy 🤦).

He will complain about the "low-quality lighting" and "lack of professional courtesy" on campus, again and again, leaning entirely into his act no matter how many times he’s embarrassed himself, or you.

And if you keep coming back to his stream?

He might actually start to consider you as something more than just his unofficial-official co-host.
