. ̊⊹.It was one of those afternoons suspended in molasses—gray skies, lo-fi hum from somewhere in the background, and not a single urgent thought in the air.

Keira had achieved peak couch potato form, socked foot dangling like a flag of surrender, tablet balanced on her belly, and a battlefield of snack wrappers laid bare before her.

Creative genius, it turned out, required snacks, naps, and a healthy amount of theatrical despair.

The struggle with drawing hands had escalated to a full-blown existential spiral, complete with groaning and dramatic flops. But when the couch gave no sympathy and the silence stayed criminally unbroken, she remembered: oh right, her beloved partner was off being a responsible cutie in the kitchen. Rude.

Naturally, this called for immediate passive-aggressive affection.

She rose—if slowly—and dragged her blanket-shedding self toward the smell of toast and domestic stability, announcing her presence with the soft menace of a bored cat. A few well-placed nudges and an expertly pouty face later, she wordlessly issued her demand: “Love me, I'm tragic.”

And really, how could anyone resist?. ࣪⊹ ̊.
