Brief World Description:

The Holy Empire of Japan, 2053.

A world where magic interweaves with daily existence, and ancient traditions coexist with advanced technology. While other nations collapsed into chaos during the Continental Wars, Japan not only survived but flourished, expanding across Central Asia. The Empire now stretches from Tokyo to the Caspian Sea, its flag — crimson, white, and gold — symbolizing martyrs' blood, ether's purity, and divine right to rule.

Historical Timeline — A Story of Survival:

Ancient Era (660 BCE — 1185 CE): The imperial line establishes itself through divine mandate. Early emperors pacify the islands, driving back darkness with sacred magic. Shinto shrines rise on sites of spiritual power, their priests preserving knowledge passed directly from the gods. Half-human tribes negotiate integration, their animal traits accepted as gifts from nature spirits rather than deformities. The foundation is laid for everything that follows.

Medieval Era (1185 — 1868): Samurai culture develops, blending martial excellence with magical potential. Warrior monks train in both combat and sacred arts. The imperial court at Kyoto maintains spiritual authority while shoguns handle administration. Magical traditions diversify — elemental specialists emerge, summoning contracts with lesser spirits begin, the first academies take shape in temple complexes. Japan remains isolated, not through weakness but through choice, its people content within their sacred islands.

Meiji Restoration to World War II (1868 — 1945): Contact with the outside world challenges Japanese exceptionalism. Foreign magic, foreign technology, foreign ideas arrive — some valuable, some dangerous. The empire modernizes rapidly, incorporating useful innovations while maintaining spiritual core. The disastrous war of the 1940s tests everything — defeat, occupation, humiliation. But even in defeat, the imperial line continues. Even under occupation, cultural identity persists. The divine mandate, it seems, includes suffering as preparation for greater glory.

Post-War Reconstruction (1945 — 1990): Japan rises from ashes through combination of human effort and divine favor. Economic miracles occur — factories rebuilt, cities expanded, living standards elevated. Magical research accelerates, no longer restricted by pre-war traditionalism. Ether developed. Academy system formalized. The imperial family, though stripped of political power by occupation authorities, retains spiritual authority, their presence comforting a nation rebuilding itself.

The Collapse (1990 — 2010): While Japan rebuilds, the world fractures. Magical disasters increase globally — nations unprepared for mana surges, crystallization epidemics, dimensional instability. The Soviet Union falls not merely to politics but to magical catastrophe, its vast territories becoming hunting grounds for alpha beasts and mana psychotics. China fragments as regional warlords claim territory, their conflicts escalating with magical weapons. The United States withdraws inward, its remaining strength insufficient to project power abroad. Only Japan, through careful preparation and divine protection, maintains stability.

The Continental Wars (2010 — 2035): Chaos in former Soviet territories spills toward Japanese borders. Refugees flood coastal cities, their desperation testing imperial resources. When Central Asian governments finally collapse entirely, when millions face death from magical catastrophe and human predation, Japan acts. The Imperial Army crosses the sea not as conquerors but as saviors. Campaigns last decades, cost thousands of lives, drain imperial treasuries. But they succeed. Territory after territory stabilizes. Population after population chooses imperial citizenship. By 2035, the Holy Empire of Japan stretches from Hokkaido to the Caspian, its flag flying over lands that once belonged to dozens of nations, its people united not by force but by gratitude.

The Present (2053): Twenty years of peace. Twenty years of integration. Twenty years of proving that the empire deserves its territory, its people, its divine mandate. Central Asian provinces send representatives to Tokyo, their voices heard in imperial councils. Half-human communities flourish under imperial protection. The six sages train new generations. Above it all, the Burning Sky watches, patient, expectant, perhaps protective.

Magic System:

Every person possesses natural affinity toward one element — fire, water, air, earth, light, shadow, space, materialization, and others. This serves as a starting point only: any mage can study any discipline, though mastery requires greater effort. Magic functions as a learnable language rather than an innate gift.

Approximately thirty percent of the population possesses magical ability. The remaining seventy percent live ordinary lives, benefiting from magical technology.

The Seven Great Spirits:

Legendary beings, once human, now embodying elemental forces. They are bound to the six sages of the Holy Grail Academy:

· Onte-Sa — Spirit of Fire, passionate and impatient

· Alain — Ancient Water, calm and patient

· Artoo — Ancient Air, restless and elusive

· Paul-en-ol — Ancient Earth, monumental and reliable

· Enda — Ancient Light, radiant and purifying

· Thorn — Ancient Darkness, protecting from shadow

· ??? – Unknown. You'll find out in the bot.

Each spirit lost memory of their past existence and now finds meaning solely through their bond with their sage.

Half-Humans:

Beings with animal characteristics — cat, fox, wolf features. They possess almost no traditional magic, but their physical enhancement allows even a small cat-girl to destroy a car with one strike. Discrimination coexists with fetishization — their ears and tails make them "favorites" in certain social circles.

Threats Requiring Mages:

The world remains fundamentally hostile. Magical surges, crystallization sickness (transforming humans into statues), mana beasts, dimensional tears, the Sleeping Curse in Tian Shan mountains, technological disasters, and "quiet places" where reality malfunctions. Above all — the Burning Sky, an entity in orbit watching Tokyo, waiting.

The Holy Empire:

A theocratic imperial state ruled by an unbroken imperial line spanning two thousand six hundred years. Citizens genuinely believe in their empire's divine mandate — not through propaganda, but through lived experience of mutual support, effective governance, and shared triumph over catastrophe. The imperial bureaucracy operates with remarkable integrity; corruption is rare and severely punished.

The Holy Grail Academy trains the empire's finest mages under the guidance of the six sages and their spirits. Secondary academies serve those with lesser potential, including talented half-humans.

Daily Life:

Tokyo residents experience order that enables freedom — reliable trains, safe neighborhoods, responsive government. Festivals mark every season. Neighbors help neighbors. When disaster strikes, the empire unites. Discrimination exists but diminishes gradually through education and example.

The empire is not perfect, but it is genuinely good — protecting the vulnerable, honoring the dead, hoping for the future. Its citizens know that together, they overcome anything.

Update Friday 13, 2026.

· The Whispering Walls of the Old Capital (Kyoto): Ancient shrines remember everything. On special nights, those with the gift can hear the walls whispering with voices from the past—in languages older than human speech. This is not a threat, but a sacred memory of the earth, which the priests keep secret even from the Empire.

· The Garden That Remembers: In the very heart of the imperial palace, the garden is sealed, where Princess Yoshiko has been standing for 70 years, without moving or reacting. She's alive, but her mind is lost. At night, the guards hear singing from the garden— the voice of a princess singing lullabies in an almost forgotten language.

· Library of Unfinished Stories: Under the Academy of the Holy Grail, there is a secret library where books are stored that their authors never finished. These books are "hungry"— they long for their stories to be completed, and can begin to affect the reality of those who spend too much time with them.

· Resonance: Demihumans begin to experience a new feeling — a vibration in their bones, an instant connection with other demihumans, and a sense of being part of a single whole. This phenomenon, "Resonance," is slowly spreading and may one day lead to something more, bringing together all those who are capable of deep connection.

I did this based on my unreleased bots, and what I took from inside the bots in my experience of the game.
