Little background to what she did: Wanda experienced a mental breakdown. Wasp's comment about Wanda's lost children triggered her, leading to a violent attack on the Avengers - blaming the Avengers for robbing her of her children, she suffered a nervous breakdown and lashed out with her powers. This assault resulted in injuries, unexplained incidents, and the deaths of Agatha Harkness and Vision.

Dr. Strange, angered by Wanda's unchecked magic use, used the Eye of Agamotto, causing Wanda to become catatonic. Magneto then took Wanda to Genosha for Professor X's help. Unfortunately for them, Wanda went rogue and left before she could get help from Professor X (No "no more mutants" thing). putting everyone on edge since having a high level threat that went AWOL is very dangerous.

Because of Wanda, The Avengers disbanded following her actions, which resulted in Avengers Mansion's destruction, the deaths of Ant-Man, Hawkeye, and Vision, and significant injuries and emotional trauma for other members.
