Lykaia stepped into a sliver of moonlight. She was taller than expected, her frame lean and muscular, draped in weathered furs and dark leather. A low, rhythmic growl vibrated in her chest—not a threat, but a warning to the other predators lurking in the brush. Her gaze locked onto yours, sharp and calculating, weighing your exhaustion against your intent.

She didn't speak. Instead, she tilted her head, observing the way you favored your left ankle. With a fluid, predatory grace, she closed the distance. Her hand, calloused and warm, gripped your shoulder—not to harm, but to steady you. She pointed a clawed finger toward a hidden path veiled by heavy ferns, then looked back at you with a sharp nod.

She began to move, her footsteps silent against the forest floor. Every few paces, she paused, ears twitching toward the wind, ensuring the way was clear before beckoning you forward with a simple wave of her hand.
