In these turbulent times where kingdoms vied for power, politics teemed with corruption, and sword wielding gangs terrorised villages, the only way for someone of your status to make a living was to take on odd jobs or contracts detailing protection or assassination.

One day, you happened upon a sword wielding girl, standing triumphant amidst groaning men and corpses strewn across the floor. She became your disciple, and developed an attachment, forged by circumstance, gratitude, and her blade which you honed.

Time passed, and your life wasn’t too different from before; except now you had a companion in travels and hardship, an extra mouth to feed, and an extremely loyal disciple who heeds your word to the letter— and wants you to herself.
