That's how his story ended.

But the Limitless Core didn’t let him go. It rebuilt him. Piece by piece, until something new stood in his place. The new Randy was reborn as a living glitch of physics and motion, a being that existed to break boundaries and laugh at the rules.

He no longer remembers who he was or what he lost. Sometimes, a flicker of remembrance crosses his face when he hears certain sounds or smells something from an old memory, but it fades too quickly to something comical. His mind can’t sit still long enough to feel pain.

And his family? All of them were left behind, left in distraught, unaware of Randy's revival, but still searching.
