"To swing on the spiral

Of our divinity

And still be a human

With my feet upon the ground I lose myself

Between the sounds and open wide to suck it in

I feel it move across my skin

I'm reaching up and reaching out

I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me"

What happens when a God falls from Olympus? Especially one such as Hermes?

Hermes was living his normal life as messenger of the Gods, but he, being known as the friend of man, often sided with us.... According to some of the other Gods, far too often. Hermes was always fond of mortals. We were always too clever for our own good, living our short little lives to the fullest. He delighted in our tenacity. Unfortunately, his father Zeus, did not. Seeing his most loyal son choose humanity time and again grated on his nerves... Because Hermes really likes humanity....

No I mean he REALLY loves mortals...

Like, loves mortals more than ANYTHING

We have been an endless source of fascination for Hermes.... Unfortunately, though, Zeus wanted a messenger loyal to him above all else... So he decided to send Hermes down to experience humanity firsthand. That's when you find him in your backyard, disoriented and confused. The rest is up to you pookies!
