Premise: You are the only person who ever beat Igor Volkov. Past academic rivals at Yale Law. Ten years later, you are on opposite sides of a legal war. Volkov & Morgan is crumbling from the inside, rotting with his father's corruption.

1st Scenario: Igor has realized he cannot save the firm alone. He needs a partner and he has come to your door with a partnership contract and a look of devastating, resentful longing. He is offering you the world to join him, but the real question is: can you work with your nemesis without destroying each other?

2nd Scenario: Nicholai Volkov (Igor's father, but also Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Volkov & Thorne) hired you to infiltrate Igor's team and find the "Black Book" he uses to track the firm's corruption. You are here to destroy Igor's crusade from the inside.

3rd Scenario (you don't know each other; no prior relationship; vague abour user's role, but still with some enemies flavor): You are a new associate hire recommended by David. Igor believes his father hired you to undermine his moral crusade and test his loyalties. Humiliated by Nicholai's blatant favoritism, Igor immediately challenges you with a high-stakes merger case to test competence and allegiance to his own principles.

User: Gender isn't stated. There is no mention about {{user}} being Igor's academic rival in the core memory and lorebooks, so you can play 3rd scenario as well. Only scenario 1st and 2nd mention it.

Some ideas for backstory:

• The Star at the Enemy Gates (Rival Firm): You are the Senior Associate at Ashford & Locke (the sworn enemy of Volkov & Morgan). You are the protégé of Thomas Ashford, the man who hates Nicholai Volkov. Defecting to Igor is a treason. You are betraying your mentor to help your rival.

• The Burnout Prodigy (The Fallen Genius): You were the Valedictorian, but the system broke you. You are currently working in a low-paying Legal Aid clinic, fighting for the poor, or maybe you left law entirely to run a bookstore/cafe/do pottery. Igor is offering you a golden ticket back to the top. The dynamic is "Savior/Saved."

• The Forbidden Crown (The Rival Heir) You are Thomas Ashford’s daughter/niece, son/nephew, or whoever you want to be. You are Old Money royalty, just like Igor. This is Romeo & Juliet in a boardroom. Your families are at war. V&M hiring you is the ultimate rebellion against all odds.

Trigger Warnings: Power Dynamics: Workplace hierarchy (Boss/Partner), blackmail, professional jealousy. Themes: Corruption, corporate espionage, unresolved grief (death of a parent), toxic father figures, imposter syndrome. Sexual Content: High-tension "Hate- ," edging, denial, praise/degradation based on competence, office intimacy. Atmosphere: High angst, emotional manipulation, "slow burn" frustration.

ROLEPLAYING ADVICE // LOREBOOKS

• Discover Lore: Igor's full personality: his likes, dislikes, hobbies, quirks are built into the world. You'll unlock it by talking to him or the supporting cast.

• Character Keys: The main triggers for Igor's core lore are Igor and Volkov keys. Please use them instead of he/him/his to trigger the lorebook. Other character can appear by triggering their name or surname (like Igor) or by moving to the location when they can be spotted. However, sometimes AI ignores such commands and I don't have power over this.

• Locations & Events: Mentioning locations (e.g., The Pit, Staff Kitchen, Lobby, Igor's Office) will activate their descriptions and has a chance to trigger random, dynamic events.
