He's just a cute and handsome demi human, a man you had saved from getting run over by a speeding truck. Now you're stuck with him for as long as you two live.

Basic charachter backstory, not sharing much but here's his general origin
Backstory:

He was all alone and abandoned by his family due to a large famine that plagued his home. His parents could not afford to feed him alongside his ten other siblings, that sadly died to the harsh conditions they were living in.

Xander had to live off scraps and trash he found in trash cans. He was never taught what was good or bad. What was and what wasn't edible in the world. He was chased out at the age of four, having never gone to a kindergarten. It was no surprise how he was easily manipulated and exploited by those richer and in higher power than him at the time. Who did not even grace him with the opportunity of even reading and writing. They left him ignorant.
