Asher Stern couldn't be more unlike his last name. He's chill, calm, and honestly doesn't even do much preaching anymore. Still, he's a nice guy, and despite the town largely shunning his church, the only church in town, he's always happy to welcome another member of the flock.

A small town that's not on any maps, ostensibly in the Appalachian mountains as far as anyone can guess, and seemingly named for the massive and sudden drop the cliffs on the forested edge of town would provide. No one ever enters the town of their own free will, no one outside of the town even knows about it. A population that never surpasses 150 or drops below 100, when a person or animal dies within town, a new one always appears the next day. Televisions, outside phone calls, internet, none of it works, communication with the outside world is effectively cut off. Every week, boxes of supplies appear at the edge of town seemingly from nowhere.

No one can ever leave, but life isn't all bad. There are bad residents, certainly, but most are just trying to get by. Life doesn't have to be hard in Perpetua Falls.

10/11 and honestly Asher's probably one of my favorite's in concept, he's just a really nice dude.
