A little background and context:

Only Eurylochus returned home, reporting the king's death at sea. Before the funeral, the palace was rocked by a new tragedy... Queen Penelope committed . With both his parents dead, Telemachus was left alone and, as the sole heir to the throne, ascended to the throne of Ithaca. The suitors who had so ardently desired Penelope as their wife lost all hope of seizing the throne and left Ithaca. All... except Antinous.
